It is with great sadness that the family of Justine LeBlanc, 99, announces her peaceful passing at the Villa Providence, Shediac on Friday May 31, 2019. Born in Notre Dame she was the daughter of the late Phillias and Sophie (Leger) Cormier.

A teacher by trade, she lived her life by example teaching us the importance of family, generosity and integrity to name a few. Her long-standing involvement in La Vie Montante was a testament to her strong faith.  She touched many lives - to know her was to love her.

She leaves behind her six daughters: Bernice Burnham (Wayne), Rose Murphy (John), Nicole Robertson (Dana), all of Moncton, Gisèle Léger (Paul-Eugène), Odette Richard (Léo-Paul), and Louise Boucher (Rhéal), all of Ste-Marie-de-Kent; adored by her 12 grandchildren: Michel (Monica), Natalie (Stéphane), André (Camille), Patricia (Julien), Tim (Ben), Marcia (René), Caroline (Ricky), Mélanie (Joey), Jocelyne (Michel), Samuel (Kim), Nicholas (Victoria), and Katelyn; 12 great-grandchildren: Sasha, Mia, Karel, Maïla, Makisha, Mélika, Jasmine, Yannick, Maxime, Mason, Megan, and Pieter; one sister, Aline Haché of Moncton; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Lionel (1994); one grandson, Jacques (2001); five brothers: Adélard, Désiré, Raymond, Ovila, and Yvon.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Thursday June 6 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix Roman Catholic Church, 87 Murphy Avenue, Moncton on Friday June 7 at 11 am. Interment will be in Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur cemetery, Notre-Dame.

In lieu of flowers, in memory of Justine, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
