
Ymelda Langis, 95, of l’Auberge du Soleil, Dieppe, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at her residence. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Adelin and Mélanie (LeBlanc) Breau.
Ymelda had a long career as a seamstress. In her later years, she enjoyed spending times with friends "The Golden Girls" at the Champlain Mall.
She will be sadly missed by three children: Victor Langis (Jocelyn), Guy Langis (Jane), and Antoinette Godin (Laurent), all of Moncton; one sister, Jeannine McClenaghan (Murray) of Moncton; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; as well as her nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Paul-Emile (1994); one daughter, Charline Fahey (2001); one son, Paul (1996); three sisters: Anize, Eva and Annette; five brothers: Françis, Aldérice, Normand, Gérard and infant Paul; also her long-time friend, Georges Bourque.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral will be celebrated on Saturday June 1 at 11am followed by a reception. Visiting hours are Friday May 31 from 7pm to 9pm only. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
