Catherine Vautour, 96, of Greenwood Drive, Shediac, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday May 26, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Haute-Aboujagane, she was the daughter of the late Blair and Alina (LeBlanc) Boudreau.

Prior to her retirement, she worked at the Villa Providence in Shediac.

She will be sadly missed by her four sons: Jean-Paul (Edith), Éloi (Ghislaine) and Ovide all of Shediac and Bertin (Gisèle Roy) of Cocagne; three daughters: Lucille Cormier (Jean-Louis) of Saint-André, Bernadette Doiron (late Rhéal) of Cap Pelé and Albertine Léger (Bernard) of Shediac; one sister, Yvonne Lirette (late Gurney); one brother, Edvin (late Isabelle); 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 67 years, Edgar Vautour (2011); one son, Léo-Paul; one daughter, Estelle; one sister, Jeaninne Lirette; four brothers: Oswald, Henri, Omer and Camile; one daughter in-law, Yvette.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297). Visiting hours will be Wednesday May 29 from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 pm only. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St-Joseph R.C. church, 415 Main Shediac on Thursday May 30, 2019 at 10:30 am. Interment will be in the St-Joseph cemetery, Shediac.
