Marie-France Deveau, 72, of Shediac, passed away on Saturday May 4, 2019 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born in Shippagan, NB, she was the daughter of the late François and Emma (Robichaud) DeGrâce.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Wilfred Deveau; two daughters: Lise and Janice both of Shediac; one son, Philippe (Kim Day) of Wellington NS; three grandchildren: Louise, Julien and Jeremy; two sisters: Jacqueline Frigault (late Alyre) of Moncton and Gracia Thériault (late Donat) of Shippagan; five brothers: Roger (Françoise), Merèle (late Thérèse), Valmond (Lucille) all three of Shippagan, Théo (Lucie) of Lamèque and Robert (Mona) of Point la Nim; as well as her nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister, Solange.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396, Main Street, Shediac, on Wednesday May 8th from 6-8 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated in Saint-Joseph R.C.  Church, 415 Main Street, Shediac, on Thursday May 9 at 1:30 pm. Interment will be in Chéticamp parish cemetery.

In memory of Marie-France, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (862-4285) would be appreciated.
