Roger Goguen, 67, of Saint John, passed away suddenly on Monday April 29, 2019 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in 1952 in Moncton, he was the son of Elvina (Doucette) Goguen of Moncton and the late Martin Goguen.

Roger was a goldsmith for many years at Spicer Jewellery in Saint John.

Besides his mother, he is survived by one sister, Yvonne LeBlanc (Normand Gaudet) of Lakeville; six brothers: Maurice (Kathy McIntyre) of Riverview, Armand (Lynn) and Oscar (Debbie), both of Dieppe, Richard (Réjeanne Arsenault), Léo (Carol), and Edouard "Eddy" (Violette), all of Moncton; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his father, he was predeceased by one sister, Annette; and one brother-in-law, Normand LeBlanc.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Friday May 3 at 10:30 am followed by a reception. Visiting hours are Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe.
