
Anne-Marie Lavoie, 93, of Moncton, passed away on Monday April 29, 2019 at the Faubourg du Mascaret. Born in Lamèque, she was the daughter of the late Gustave and the late Lorette (Savoie) Haché.
She is survived by four daughters: Mireille Lavoie (Serge Rochon) of Memramcook, Gisèle Lavoie (Daniel Landry) of Caraquet, Corinne Lavoie and Sophie Lavoie (Janique Léger), both of Moncton; two sons: Donald of St-Eustache, and Roger (Louise Albert) of Ottawa, Ont.; nine grandchildren: Annie Sarah, Frédéric, Guillaume, Jean-Philippe, Marie-Elise, Noémie, Frédérique, Etienne and Jean-Simon; two great-granddaughters: Léonie and Lia; three sisters-in-law: Malvina Duguay Haché of Ste-Marie-St-Raphaël, N.B., Rita Lavoie of Massachusetts, USA. and Irène Lavoie of Chambly, Qué.; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Napoléon; one son, Claude; and three brothers: Théophile, Dumont and Wilfred.
As requested by the family, there will be no funeral service. The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Friday May 3 from 2 to 5 pm only.
In memory of Anne-Marie, instead of flowers, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (cardiology) would be appreciated.
