Nicole Frenette, 74, of Moncton, passed away following a brief but courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her family on Wednesday April 17, 2019 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC in Moncton. Born in Petit-Rocher, she was the daughter of the late Anastasie (Comeau) Frenette and the late Joseph Frenette.

She is survived by her daughters: Carole Williams (Dany Benoit) of Irishtown and Maryse Basque of Moncton, her two granddaughters whom she adored: Lily and Sophie Williams, her sister Claudette (Guy) Doucet of Petit-Rocher, her sister-in-law Lorida (feu Claude) Frenette of Moncton, as well as her nieces and their spouses.

She was predeceased by her sister Carmelle (Yvon Albert) of Petit-Rocher and her brother Claude, as well as her step-brother Lionel Frenette of Petit-Rocher and her step-sister Estelle Frenette of Moncton.

Nicole worked for over 40 years as a nurse at Hôtel-Dieu de Moncton and Villa du Repos, Moncton. She excelled in her field and was very appreciated in her profession.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude toward the staff of 4D as well as Dr. Linda LeBlanc and colleagues, and the staff of 3CSP at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC for their excellent care.

In accordance to her wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment will be in St-Polycarpe parish cemetery in Petit-Rocher.

In memory of Nicole, instead of donations, the family suggests a random act of kindness in her honor.
