Dr. Wieslaw Sikora, 80, of Moncton, passed
away suddenly on Wednesday March 27, 2019 at his residence. Born in
1939 in Biecz, Poland, he was the son of the late Klemens and Jadwiga
(Sopala) Sikora.
Dr. Sikora was an anesthesiologist at the
Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont hospital in Moncton as well as in hospitals in
the United States.
He is survived by his sister, Alina
Sylwester of Poland; his sister-in-law, Lucienne Iwaniszyn (late
Eugene) of Clifton, NJ; as well as his nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by
his wife, Jeanine née Holowczyk
(2018).
The funeral service will be celebrated at
Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton
(858-1900) on Saturday April 6 at 11 am followed by a reception.
Visiting hours are Saturday from 10 am until time of funeral.
Interment will be in Poland. In memory of Wieslaw, a contribution to a
charity of the donor’s choice would be
appreciated.
