Yvon Babineau, 84, of Moncton, passed away on Sunday March 31, 2019 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC.

Born in St-Louis-de-Kent, he was the son of Hilaire Babineau and Marie Daigle; husband of Lorraine née Robichaud (2014); father of Bernard, Solange et Michel, all of Moncton; brother of Élodie, Alexina, Alphée (Lorette), Imelda, Bernadette, Robert, Céline, Rémi (Imelda), Gérard, Thérèse and Bernard; and uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Prior to his retirement, he worked at the DND no 5 Depot.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Christ-Roi R.C. church, 300 Dominion Street, Moncton on Friday April 5 at 11 am. Interment will be in Aldouane cemetery. In memory of Yvon, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
