
Bernard Joseph Aurèle LeBlanc, 73, of Shediac passed away surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at the Dr. Georges-L-Dumont UHC, Moncton following a brief illness.
Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Napoléon and Joséphine (Gautreau) LeBlanc.
He worked for CN Rail for 33 years before retiring in 1996. During his retirement he kept himself busy working construction along side both brothers Yvon-Guy and Gilles. As of late, he was still active playing golf and hockey with friends.
Bernard will be sadly missed by his loving family, his wife, Hélène (Gautreau) LeBlanc, two sons: Serge and Stéphane LeBlanc; two sisters: Jeannette Belliveau (late Bernard) of Bouctouche and Cécile Bourque (Eric) of Mont-Joli, QC; three brothers: Donald (Germaine), Francis (Jeannine) and Gilles (Rose) all of Grand-Barachois, several nieces, nephews and so many friends.
He was predeceased by four brothers and one sister: Jean-Paul, Juliette Landry, Yvon-Guy, Valmont and Fernand.
Visitation at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. and Thursday, April 4, 2019 from 2:30pm till the time of the funeral. Funeral service will be held from Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre Chapel on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at 3:30pm.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
