
Edmond Boudreau, 96, of Oasis d’Or in Dieppe and formerly of Shediac, passed away on Sunday March 17th, 2019 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC. Born in Richibucto, he was the son of the late Auguste and Emma (Richard) Boudreau.
The last member of his immediate family, he served with the Canadian Army during the Second World War.
He is survived by two sons: Claude (Carolyn Tower) and Marc (Janice Poirier) both of Moncton; six grandchildren; one great-grand daughter, as well as his nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Hélène Boudreau; three sons: Pierre, Gilles and Michel; two sisters: Marie Babineau and Sr. Laura Maillet; four brothers: Émile Maillet, Urbain Maillet, Léandre Maillet and Edouard Maillet.
The funeral service will be held at a later date. Interment will be in Saint-Joseph Cemetery, Shediac. In memory of Edmond, a contribution to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
