
Dorina Casey, 102, of Irishtown, passed away on Friday March 8th, 2019 at The Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC, Moncton. Born in Notre-Dame, she was the daughter of the late George and Béatrice (Pellerin) Surette.
Dorina is survived by her daughter, Norma Surette (late Harvey) of Moncton; three sons: Roger of Irishtown, Francis (Félice) of Dieppe, and Raymond (Diane) of Irishtown; son-in-law, W.E. Tom Cormier of Moncton; her brother, Henri (Géraldine) of Dieppe; brother-in-law, Coral Daigle of Moncton; special niece, Simonne McLeod (Donny) of Grand Bend, ON; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Loyola ″Bill″ Casey; daughter, Rita Cormier; sisters: Sr. Rita Surette, NDSC, Viola Turner, Edith LeBlanc, Jeanette Daigle; brothers: Laurie, Ovila, Alphonse, Gérard, and Paul.
Visitation will be at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900), on Friday March 15, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and on Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 9:30 to 10:45 am The funeral service will be celebrated in Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix R.C. Church, 87 Murphy Avenue, Moncton, on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 11 am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
