Évariste Fougère, 94, of Villa Providence passed away peacefully on Monday, March 4th, 2019. Born on Shediac Island, NB, he was the son of late Joseph and Marie (Brun) Fougère. The last member of his immediate family, he served with the Canadian Army during the Second World War.
He will be sadly missed by his three children: Patricia Waddell (late Nathan) of Langley, BC, Donald Petitpas (Marielle) of Terrace, BC and Mitchell (Lynda) of Lakeville; two grandchildren; three great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Évariste was predeceased by his wife, Jeanne; one sister, Catherine; five brothers: Johnny, Philippe, George, Maxime and André.
As per Évariste wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service. Inurnment will be in the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre columbarium, Shediac.
In memory of Évariste, donations to a charity of the donor’s would be appreciated.
