Roger Girouard, 78, of Moncton, passed away on Wednesday January 30, 2019 at his residence. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Aldoria and Irène (Cormier) Girouard.

Roger was a retired truck driver. He lived to spend his summers at his trailer in Sandy Beach where he could be with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Joan née Goodin; his son, Ron of Riverview; his stepson, Don (Debbie) de Moncton; two grandchildren: Kristen and Nicholas; three step-grandchildren: Julia, Jeremy, and Jenna; one brother, Normand (Kathy) of Detroit; as well as his nieces and nephew.

He was predeceased by his brother, Thaddée.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Monday February 4 at 10:30am. Visiting hours are Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only.

In memory of Roger, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (dialysis) would be appreciated.
