It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jeannine Léger, 80, of Shediac on Friday, January 18th, 2019 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC. Born in Shediac, she was the daughter of the late Lionel and Ida (LeBlanc) Hébert.
She is survived by her two daughters: Janice David (Napoléon) and Joanne Léger; one sister: Elizabeth Boudreau and two grandchildren: Keri and Ryan.
She was predeceased by her first spouse, Ulysse Léger and her second spouse, Bill Melanson; two sisters: Corinne Ahern, Clarise Pitre and one brother: Gérard.
As per her wishes, there will be no visitation. The funeral will be held at St. Joseph R. C. Church, 415 Main Street, Shediac on Tuesday, January 22nd at 11 am.
In memory of Jeannine, a contribution to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
