Anita (née Léger) Maillet, 94, of Villa Providence, wife of the late Henri J. Maillet passed away Saturday December 29, 2018, at her residence. Born in Saint-Antoine, she was the daughter of the late Hypolite and Marie (Cormier) Léger.

Anita was a very organized woman. She had everything in its place. She also enjoyed playing cards with her friends.

 She is survived by two sisters: Madeleine Vautour (late Hervé) of Shediac and Jeannine Cormier (late Paul-Emile) of Moncton; two brothers: Noé of Sudbury, On. and Léo-Paul (Jeannette) of Shediac; two grandchildren: Mark and Elissa as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband and her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Paul; two sisters: Alice and Rita; two brothers: Gérard and Dominique.

There will be no visitation at the funeral centre. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy RC Church, 11 St. Andrews Road, Pointe-du-Chêne, on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 10:00am.

In memory of Anita, a contribution to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
