Dorice Melanson, 85, formerly of Scoudouc, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at the Villa Providence, Shediac. 

Born in Scoudouc, she was the daughter of the late Blaire and Alma (Melanson) Melanson.

Dorice will be sadly missed by her sister, Florine Thibodeau (late Alcide) of Shediac; her sister-in-law, Bernadette Melanson of Shediac; her step-brother, Joseph Bourque (Stella) of Moncton; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Yvon (2017). 

Visitation will be held at  Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) on Saturday, December 29 from 10 am until time of funeral. Funeral service will be celebrated at Frenette Funeral Centre Chapel, Shediac on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 11 am.

Donations to the CHU Dumont Foundation or to the St-Jacques-le-Majeur Cemetery Fund, Scoudouc would be appreciated by the family.
