
Joseph Azor LeBlanc, 85, of Faubourg du Mascaret in Moncton and formerly of Scoudouc, passed away on Friday December 7, 2018 at The Moncton Hospital. Born on August 28, 1933 in Petit-Cap, he was the son of the late Edouard and Eveline (Richard) LeBlanc.
Joseph Azor was in the Royal Canadian Air Force for 10 years, then pursued a career with Transport Canada for 30 years and retired as Airport Manager at the Moncton International Airport.
Joseph had a lifelong passion for his Arabian Horses and his Music.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Clara Alice LeBlanc; two daughters: Jacqueline MacKenzie (Richard) of Maitland, NS, and Linda Jaillet (Eloi) of Dieppe; three grandchildren: Jeffrey (Kim), Stephen (Jennifer), and Jennifer (Michel); three great-grandchildren: Carter, Bennet, and Yanix; two sisters: Jeannette Rockwell (Merle) of Lower Sackville, NS, and Louise Wilchuck (John) of Truro, NS; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A private funeral service was celebrated at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton. In memory of Joseph Azor, a contribution to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital (oncology) or the Greater Moncton SPCA would be appreciated.
