Andrea "Drea" Dawson, 65, of Shediac passed away on Thursday, October 25th, 2018 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC following a long illness. Born in Shediac on January 13th, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Eleanor (Williams) Dawson.
Drea had a love for animals and making people laugh.
She will be sadly missed by her three sisters: Debbie LeBlanc (Guy), Joan Hébert (Oscar) and Susie Dawson (Normand Leménager); a brother, Bill (Linda LeBlanc); six nieces and nephews: Marc, André, Mathieu, Beverly, Erika and Lee-Ann; great niece, Malyka and special friend, Diane Cormier.
A special thanks to Teeah and Angèle for the care and compassion shown to Drea during her illness.
As per her request a private funeral service and reception was held at Frenette Funeral Cremation Centre, Shediac, on Monday, October 29th, 2018.
In memory of Drea, a contribution to the Moncton SPCA would be appreciated.
