Raymond J. Léger, 91, of Grand-Barachois passed away at the Dr.-Georges-L.-Dumont UHC on Sunday, October 21st, 2018. Born February 4th, 1927 in Barachois, he was the son of late Clément and Sara (Breau) Léger.
Before his retirement, he was a carpenter. Raymond loved playing bingo. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Raymond is survived by a daughter, Rosa (Guy) Boudreau; two grand-daughters: Annette (Daniel) and Norma (Jeff); three great-grandchildren: Arianne, Janick and Payden; and by several nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his wife, Anne-Marie (LeBlanc) (2013); eight siblings: Laurie, Léo, Éloie, Ulysse, Francis, Éliza, Yvonne and Alice.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac from where a funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 24th at 10:30 a.m followed by a reception. Visiting hours will be from 9:30 am until the time of service.
In memory of Raymond, a contribution to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
