Yvon Gallant, 70, of Grand-Barachois, passed away at his residence on Sunday, September 9th, 2018. Born in Robichaud Office on June 24, 1948, he was the son of the late Walter and Flora (Ouellette) Gallant.
He was a former truck operator for H & H Trucking.
He leaves to mourn his wife of 44 years Diane (Saulnier): his two children: Julie Caissie (Jason), Sophie Cormier (André); his two grandchildren: Janie, Emily; his brothers and sisters; Jean-Louis (Louise), Aimé (Marguerite), Annette Gaudet (Emery), Denise Landry (feu Armand), Ginette Aubé (Roland) and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers: Roger and infant child Alias.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac from where the funeral will be celebrated on Friday, September 14th at 10:30 am. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 2 pm to 4 pm and from 7 pm to 9 pm only.
In memory of Yvon, a contribution to a N.B. Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
