
Sister Yvette-Gloria LeBlanc, ndsc, in religion Sr Marie-Benoîte, of Maison-mère des Religieuses Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur, Moncton, passed away following a brief illness on Saturday September 8, 2018 at the convent where she resided. She was 95 years old and in her 76th year of her religious life. Born March 11, 1923 in Shediac, she was the daughter of the late Ulric and Marceline (Boudreau) LeBlanc.
Besides her religious family, she is survived by two sisters: Benoîte LeBlanc-Gautreau (Paul) of Shediac Bridge, and Jeannine Robichaud (late Yves) of Cap-Pelé; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters: Raymonde, and infant Fernande; three brothers: Yves (late Carmel Reardon), as well as infants Fernand and Bertin.
Sister LeBlanc will be resting at the Notre-Dame-d’Acadie Pavilion of the Maison-mère, 125 King Street, Moncton (Godfrey Lane entrance) on Wednesday from 2 to 8:30 pm and on Thursday from 9 am until the funeral mass. Solemn Vespers will be held on Wednesday evening at 7 pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday September 13 in the Maison-mère chapel at 10:30 am. Interment will be in Memramcook. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (858-1900).
