Andréa Boudreau, 90, of Dieppe, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC on Tuesday August 14, 2018 after a brief illness. Born in Rosaireville, N.B., she was the daughter of the late Henri and Domithilde (Babineau) Bourque.

She was very devoted to her immediate and extended family and will be missed by all. Andréa was very involved in church activities and was a longtime volunteer. For several decades, she was a member of a sewing circle where she made some loving friends. She was a strong believer in the importance of education and encouraged all her children to get post-secondary degree.

Andréa will be sadly missed by her five children: Donald (Yvette), Yvon (Patricia), Linda LeBlanc (Léonard), Gilles (Josette), and Denise Barrieau (Michel); her eight grandchildren: Julien, Céline (Pascal), Sylvie (Brion), Jean-Marc (Edith), David (Diane), Monise (Jason), Luc, and Patrick; her six great-grandchildren: Jacob, Tessa, Alice, Lucie, Owen, and Louis; her two brothers: Élie Bourque and Thomas Bourque; her sister, Yolande Perry; as well as several nephews and nieces.

She was predeceased by her husband, Télesphore Boudreau (2002); her brothers: Éloi, Abel, and Napoléon; as well as her sisters: Eva, Regina, and Lorraine.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). Visiting hours are Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste-Thérèse-de-l’Enfant-Jésus R.C. Church, 457 Acadie Avenue, Dieppe on Saturday August 18 at 10:30 am.

Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe. In memory of Andréa, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (palliative care) would be appreciated.
