Yvon J. Vienneau, 86, of Villa Providence Shediac, passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born on April 10th, 1932 in Cap-Pelé, he was the son of the late Emile and Celeste (Boudreau) Vienneau.
He was a member of the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus Council 9178 Cap-Pelé.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Eveline (Donelle), his nine children: Rita Vienneau, Stella Robichaud, May Goldsworthy (Calvin), Roger (Fregeline Deerio), Ronald (Claudette), Rose-Marie Cormier (Alcide), Léo (Efreline), Euloge (Liette) and Eric (Ingrid); 21 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; his siblings: Lilianne Vautour, Imelda Caissie (Wilfred), Rhéal (Jeanne), Ola (Claudette), Alcide (Loretta) as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his siblings: Laurie, Ronaldo, Dominique, Florentine.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé. Visiting hours are Thursday August 16, 2018 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm and Friday from 10 am till time of the mass. The funeral mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Thérèse d’Avila R.C. church in Cap-Pelé on Friday at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
In memory of Yvon, a contribution to CHU Dumont (Oncology) would be appreciated by the family.
