Gina Chiasson, 59, of Moncton, passed away on Monday July 30, 2018 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born on December 7, 1958 in Val-Doucet, she was the daughter of Emma (Hébert) Doiron and the late Livain Doiron.

Gina was a medical transcriptionist at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC.

Besides her mother of Caraquet, she is survived by her husband of 25 years, Claude; two children: Guillaume and Véronique, both at home; six sisters: Paulette Doiron (Domice) of Val-Doucet, Barbara Doiron (Dany) of St-Georges de Beauce, QC, Majella Doiron of Montréal, QC, Carole Doiron of Petit-Paquetville, Marie-France Doiron of Shippagan, and Carmelle Doiron of Caraquet; three brothers: Réjean (Noëlline McLaughlin) of Thériault Office, Roland (Francine) of Timmins, ON, and Normand (Francine Béland) of Montréal, QC; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides her father, she was predeceased by one sister, Josette.

In accordance to her wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral service. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe, on Wednesday August 8 at 2 pm. In memory of Gina, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (oncology) would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (858-1900).
