Léonide Bourque, 75, of Shediac passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC. Born on December 31st, 1942, he was the son of the late Jacob and Emma (Fougère) Bourque.
Before his retirement, he was employed by Coastal Flooring.
He is survived by his spouse, Edith; two sons: Michel (Nathalie) of Shediac and Marc (Tracy) of Cap-Pelé; sisters and brothers: Thérèse (lte Emery) Robichaud, Rita (lte James) Ferguson, Jean-Marie (Eugénie) Bourque, Stella (Mike) Whalen, Gloria (Victor) Gallant and Roland Bourque; three grandchildren: Jessica, Joshua and Brianna.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph R. C. church, 415 Main Street, Shediac on Monday, July 30th at 10:30 a. m. The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac on Sunday, July 29th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., on Monday July 30th from 9:30 am till time of departure at 10:20 a.m.
In memory of Léonide, a contribution to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
