Marie-Anne Cormier, 72, beloved wife of Alexandre Cormier of Cap-Pelé passed away on Monday, July 23rd, 2018 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC. Born in Cap-Pelé on December 30th, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Azor and Beatrice (Leblanc) Landry.
She was an employee of Fred's Restaurant in Cap-Pelé for 20 years and before her retirement, she worked at Beausejour Seafood.
She is survived by her husband: Alexandre; her children: Lisa (Dany) Cormier of Laval, QC, Kevin Cormier of Bas Cap-Pelé; her two grandchildren: Mirella and Ellie; her sisters and brothers: Eric Landry (Marie), Gerard Landry (Marcella), Omer Landry, Gisèle Landry all of Cap-Pelé, Rachel Gautreau (Donald)and Angel Landry both of Dieppe as well as many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was predeceased by her parents and a sister: Claudine Leblanc.
A private chapel service was held at Funéarium Frenette, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé.
