Fernand Gagné, 70, of Cap-Pelé, passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at the Dr. G-L-Dumont UHC. Born on February 28, 1948, in Cap-Chat, QC, he was the son of the late Luc Gagné and Bernadette Pelletier.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Jeannette née Doiron; three daughters: Nathalie Gagné of Rimouski, QC, Nancy Gagné (Vital LeBrun) of Amqui, QC and Isabelle Gagné of Montréal, QC; two step-children: Ursula Morin (Benoit) of Cap-Pelé and Alain Léger (Micheline Levac) of Gatineau, QC; his sisters and brothers: Marjolaine, Patricia, Chantal, Odette, Bernard, Jean-Nil, Richard and Régis; former daughter-in-law, Julie Laviolette: four grandchildren: Lillye-Rose, Riley, Noémie and Gabrielle; five step-grandchildren: Xavier, Maxime, Dalie, Emma and Kayla; two special friends: Rita Petitpas and Anik Duguay as well as many nieces and nephews.

There will be no visiting hours at the centre. The funeral will be celebrated at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 2642 Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at 11 am.

Interment will be in Cap-Pelé.

In memory of Fernand, a contribution to the CHU Dumont Foundation (oncology) would be appreciated by the family.
