Euclide Hébert, 90, of Faubourg du Mascaret (Pavillon Richard) in Moncton, passed away on Thursday July 12, 2018 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born on November 1, 1927 in Lakeburn, he was the son of the late Henri and Généreuse (Cormier) Hébert.

Prior to his retirement, Euclide was the founder operator of Euclide Hébert Masonry.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Evéline née Cormier; six children: Oscar (Joan) of Dieppe, Denise Lecouffe (Richard), Charles, and Michel, all of Moncton, Diane Caissie (Vernon) of Shediac, and Ginette Dupuis (Guy) of Pré-d’en-Haut; eight grandchildren: Marc, André, Mathieu, Michel, Denis, Paul, Nicholas, and Luc; six great-grandchildren: Malyka, Sofiya, Améliya, Alexi, Bella, and Hunter; one sister, Corinne Allain (late Clarence) of Dieppe; five brothers: René (Laura) and Oscar (Dorothy), both of Ontario, Ronald of Bathurst, Yvon of Moncton, and Emile (Andréa) of Dieppe; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by one son, Paul; one brother, Raymond; four step-sisters: Marguerite, Anna, Rufine, and Lorette; and one step-brother, Blair.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Monday July 16 at 11 am. Visiting hours are Monday from 9:30 am until time of funeral. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.

In memory of Euclide, a contribution to the Lung Association or to the CHU Dumont Foundation (Palliative Care Unit) would be appreciated.
