Miss. Dora Melanson, 79, of Moncton, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at the Villa Providence, Shediac.

Born November 5, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Zoël and Evangeline (Bourgeois) Melanson.

She is survived by her sister, Geneva Boucher of St-Antoine; her brother, Camille (Rita) of Shediac; many nieces, and nephews.

Dora is predeceased by four brothers: Aurèle, Gérard, Normand and Maurice; her two sisters: Edna Richard, and Rita Richard.

The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900).

Visiting hours Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, and Thursday from 9:30 until departure time (10:20).

The funeral mass will be celebrated at the Our Lady of Assumption Cathedral, 226 St. George Street, Moncton, Thursday, July 5 2018 at 10:30 am.

A reception at the Frenette Funeral Centre will follow.
