Bernard Bourgeois, 70, of Shediac, passed away on Wednesday June 6, 2018 at the Dr. Georges -L-Dumont Hospital UHC. Born November 30, 1946 in Scoudouc, he was the son of late Henri and late Marguerite Bourgeois.

Prior to his retirement as a Driver Examiner and Truck Driver, Bernard was a former member of the Canadian Air Force (1966-1986). He was also an active member Legion Branch # 5, Air Force Veterans Club of Moncton and a car enthusiast.

He is survived by his daughter Christine; his sisters: Hélène Gallant (late Leslie), Thérèse Cormier (George), many nieces and nephews and a special friend Peter Léger.  

He was predeceased by his wife Dorothy (Dutcher) Bourgeois (2017); one brother: Jean.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac, from where the funeral will be celebrated on Saturday June 9, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours are Friday from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. only.

In memory of Bernard, a contribution to the Muscular Dystrophy of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
