Lorette Richard, 91, of Moncton, passed away on Monday April 30, 2018 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born on January 21, 1927 in St-Ignace, she was the daughter of the late Benoit and Alphonsine (Barrieau) Richard.

Lorette was a member of the Institut séculier Les Oblates missionnaires de Marie-Immaculée for 59 years.

Besides her religious family, she is survived by two sisters: Marie Richard-Richard (late Wilfred) of Leominster, MA, USA, and Rita Richard-Daigle (Ted) of Moncton; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was the 12th of 16 children and was predeceased by five sisters: Nathalie, Béatrice, Aline, Diana and Eva; Seven Brothers: Charlemain, Albert, Zoël Jacques, Lionel, Francis and Norbeert.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix R.C. Church, 87 Murphy Avenue, Moncton (858-1900) on Friday May 11, 2018 at 11am. Interment will be in Sainte-Madeleine cemetery in Trois-Rivières, Qué.
