Sara Cormier, 100, of Haute Aboujagane passed away on Friday, March 30, 2018 at her residence. Born in Haute-Aboujagane on August 20th, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Hypolite and Herminie (Bourgeois) Richard.
Sara was a member of the Golden Age Club of Haute-Aboujagane.
She is survived by her children: Euclide, Robert (Angela), Richard (Léola), Lévi (Doris), Roland (Margaret), Francine (Laurie) and Claude (Joline) all of Haute-Aboujagane; one sister: Rita Melanson (late Normand), 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren and by many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Léandre; one daughter: Dorine; three sons: Francis, Fernand and Delphis; one sister, Adelaïde and two brothers: Émile and Calixte.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac on Wednesday April 4, 2018 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm, Thursday April 5, 2018 from 9:30 am until time of departure (10:05 am).The funeral mass will be celebrated at Sacré-Coeur R. C. church, 944 route 933, Haute Aboujagane on Thursday, April 5 at 10:30 am. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
In memory of Sara, a contribution to the Sacré-Coeur R.C. cemetery would be appreciated.
