Violet Marie Burnes, 87, wife of the late George Burnes, of O’ Bons Soins, Shediac, formerly of Pte-du-Chêne, passed away on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont UHC following a brief illness.

Born March 21, 1930 in Yarmouth, NS, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Ruby (Crowell) Hubbard.

Violet is survived by her two sons: Daniel of Pte-du-Chêne, and David of Grand-Barachois; many nieces, and nephews.

Besides her husband, she is also predeceased by her siblings: Loraine, Myrtle, Evangeline, Mabel, Wallace, Cecil, Bernard, and Clarence.

The family will receive condolences Tuesday, March 20th from 2 to 4 pm at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) with sharing of memories at 3 pm. 

Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Shediac.
