Cecile Cormier, 75, of Grand-Barachois, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L-Dumont Hospital UHC on Monday March 12, 2018. Born in Robichaud Office on July 12th, 1942, she was the daughter of late William and Émilienne (Leblanc) Léger.
Before her retirement, she worked at Cape Bald Packers. She enjoyed spending her time doing puzzles, crosswords and playing Bingo.
She is survived by her five children: Nicole Cormier, Ronald, Paul, Diane (Philippe Brun), Nathalie (Tony Martin); her sisters: Yvonne Bourque (late Donald), Marie May Leblanc (Mathias), Monique Jacob (Richard); her three grandchildren: Alexandre, Marie-Pier, Karine.
She was predeceased by her husband Fernando; by her siblings: Laura, Irène, Lina, Aurore, Doris, Jeanita, Aurelda, Emile, Emery, Adrice, Camille, Joseph.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac on Thursday, March 15th from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at the St. Henri RC Church, 1356 route 133, Grand-Barachois on Friday, March 16th at 10:30 a.m.
In memory of Cecile, a contribution to Alzheimer’s Society of NB would be appreciated by the family.
