Delcia Gaudet, 67, of Bas-Cap-Pele NB passed away on Monday March 5, 2018 at the Dr. Georges-L-Dumont Hospital, Moncton. Born June 6, 1950 in Petit-Cap, she was the daughter of Clara (Melanson) and the late Philippe Jacob.

Delcia worked at a fish plant worker until her retirement. Her favorite pastime was reading.

She is survived by her mother Clara of Cap-Pele, her husband of 44 years Claude Gaudet; her daughter: Nancy Dunfield (Duane) of Fredericton, NB; her son: Denis Gaudet; her granddaughter: Siennah Dunfield; her five sisters: Georgette Landry of Amherst, NS, Gisele Doiron of Moncton, Patsy McFarlane of Kitchener, ON, Linda Jacob of Trois-Ruisseaux, Shirley Vienneau (Laurie) of Saint-Andre-Leblanc; her three brothers: Ovila of Cap-Pele, Normand and Gary all of Petit-Cap; as well by several nieces and nephews.

Beside her father Philippe, she is also predeceased by an infant sister Gilberte, three brothers: Romuald, Philippe Jr. (Joe) and Guy.

As per her request, there will be no visits or service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Scleroderma Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.

Cremation and funeral arrangements are under the professional direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac (532-3297).
