
Ronald Jr. Gauvin, 53, of Langdon, Alberta, passed away on Thursday February 8, 2018 at the South Health Campus in Calgary, Alberta, following a sudden illness. Born March 15, 1964 in Moncton, he was the son of Doris (Richard) Gauvin of Moncton and the late Ronald Gauvin.
Ronald Jr. previously worked at Gauvin Engine Rebuilders and spent the past 12 years in Alberta working at Safeway. Ronald enjoyed spending time with family and friends, watching hydroplane racing and was a long time supporter of Ducks Unlimited.
Besides his mother, he is survived by two sisters: Annette Gauvin of Langdon, AB, and Elizabeth "Betty" Gallant (Wilfred) of Cocagne; one brother, Michel of Toronto, ON; one nephew, Jason (Stephanie) Edmonton, AB; two nieces, Christine (Moncton) and Nathalie (Cocagne), one great-nephew, Zachary; and one great-niece, Grace; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his father, Ronald Sr. (2013).
By request, there will be no visitation. The funeral service will be celebrated at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Friday June 1, 2018 at 10 am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary cemetery, Dieppe.
