
Mary Gautreau, 88, of Résidence Beaux Souvenirs in Dieppe, formerly of Moncton, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont UHC. Born on July 31, 1929 in Bouctouche, she was the daughter of the late James and Sophie (Nowlan) Carroll.
Mary worked in administration with the Royal Bank for over 40 years.
She is survived by five children: Denise Long (James) of Dieppe, Pierre of Moncton, Annette Gautreau of Moncton, Monique Gautreau (Jamshid) of Montréal, and Charles of Moncton; three grandchildren: James, Alexandre, and Catherine; four sisters: Joanne Cormier and Phyllis LeBlanc (Guy), both of Bouctouche, Bernice Bastarache (Gerard) of Toronto, and Muriel Brison (Emery) of Moncton; two brothers: Ralph of Shediac and Kenneth of Bouctouche; several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, Léo (2000), she was predeceased by four siblings: Joe, Cecil, Helen, and Pauline.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Assumption Cathedral, 220 St. George Street, Moncton, Saturday March 3 at 10 am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
