
Alderic Leblanc, 92, of Auberge du Soleil Dieppe, passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Friday, February 23rd, 2018. Born in Petit-Cap on August 8th, 1925, he was the son of the late Charles and Amanda (Doiron) LeBlanc.
He was a retired CNR electrician for 22 years, a volunteer fireman in Dieppe and a minor hockey coach in Dieppe for several years.
He is survived by his spouse of 72 years, Orida née Ouellette; two children: Charles-Omer (Loretta) and Bernard (Karen); four grandchildren: Steven, Ginette, Matthew and Christopher; two great grandchildren: Jacy and Madison.
He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters: Fred, Edvard, Émile, Adelard, Alma, Léa, Geneva, Edna and Hélèna.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac from where a chapel service will be held on Wednesday, February 28th at 11 am. Visitation will be from 9:30 am till time of service.
In memory of Alderic, a contribution to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or Diabetes Canada or to the palliative care unit of the Moncton Hospital would be appreciated.
