Ovila LeBouthillier, 80, formerly of Spruce Street Moncton, passed away on Sunday February 18, 2018 at the Villa du Repos. Born on May 2, 1937 in Pointe-Sapin, he was the son of the late Honoré and Cécile (Robichaud) LeBouthillier.

Ovila retired from The Moncton Hospital in housekeeping.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Lorraine née Gagnon; one daughter, Chantale Belliveau (Guy) of Dieppe; two grandchildren: Jérémie and Alexia; one sister, Diana Daigle (late Elmo) of Rexton; one brother, Valérie (Linda) of Néguac; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers: Isidore and Benoit.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude towards the staff of the Bonaventure section at the Villa du Repos for all their excellent care and small gestures of attention provided to Ovila. The family will be grateful forever.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm, and Wednesday from 10 am until time of departure (10:45). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-Grâce R.C. Church, 854 Mountain Road, Moncton on Wednesday February 21, 2018 at 11 am. In memory of Ovila, a contribution to the Alzheimer Society of New-Brunswick would be appreciated.
