Denis LeBlanc, 61, of Moncton, passed away on Wednesday February 14, 2018 at The Moncton Hospital. Born on November 21, 1956 in Moncton, he was the son of the late Alvery "Tipper" and Christina (Belliveau) LeBlanc.

Denis worked at Air Canada for over 30 years.

He is survived by his wife, Claire née Nowlan; two children: Sophie LeBlanc (Billy Stewart) of Dieppe and Gilles of Moncton; three stepchildren: Luc Castilloux (Michelle) and Janelle Castilloux (Scott Roper), both of Moncton, and Gilles Castilloux (Angela Desveaux) of Montréal; two grandchildren: Alyssa and Zoe; seven step-grandchildren: Olivier, Léo, Betsey, Arthur, Evelyn, Grace, and Holly; two sisters: Annette LeBlanc-Dupuis (Bernard) and Simonne Richard (Danny) both of Dieppe; four brothers: Paul (Treva) and Bob "Tipper" (Francine), both of Moncton, Charles LeBlanc-Emmerys (Raeanne) and Jacques (Anise), both of Montréal, QC; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A gathering to celebrate the life of Denis will take place at St. James Gate Boutique Event Room, 14 Church Street, Moncton on Monday February 19 from 2 to 5 pm. In lieu of flowers, a contribution to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital (NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton (858-1900).
