Bertha Caissie, 83, of Shediac passed away on Friday, December 22th, 2017 at the Dr Georges L.-Dumont UHC.

Born on November 11th, 1934, in Saint-André, she was the daughter of the late Dosithé and Domethilde Bourque.

A homemaker, Bertha loved talking on the phone, reading, knitting, bowling, telling great jokes and playing cards.

She will be sadly missed by her husband Guillaume; one brother, Joe Bourque; two sisters, Lorraine Gallant (Orace) and Elda Landry (Gérard); and her special niece Rose.

She is predeceased by a brother, Ernest and her sister Elizabeth Babineau.

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 27 at 10:30 followed by a reception at the funeral centre.

Visitation Wednesday morning from 9:30 am.
