Dorothée Cormier, 101, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2017 at the Villa Providence in Shediac. She was formerly of Moncton. Born August 3, 1916 in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Léonide and Cordélia (Melanson) Cormier.

She is survived by many nieces, and nephews. Dorothée was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She was predeceased by four sisters: Eva, Freda, Géraldine, and infant Bernice; and two brothers: Aurèle and Léo.

The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). Visiting hours are Thursday from 9:30 am until time of departure (10:45). The funeral mass will be celebrated at Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix R.C. church, 87 Murphy Avenue, Moncton on Thursday December 14 at 11 am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe. In memory of Dorothée, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
