
Denise Isabelle LeBlanc, 69, of Moncton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre following her illness with cancer.
Born October 8, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Raymond LeBlanc and the late Célinie née Melanson.
Denise had a loving and generous heart and volunteered many hours to the poor and less fortunate in the Greater Moncton Area. She was retired from NB Power where she had a little over 30 years of service. Denise enjoyed traveling and spending time with her friends and family. She especially cherished her nieces and nephews and loved watching them grow and learn.
She is survived by her two brothers: Maurice and Eric (Julie); three nieces: Melanie (Jetty Thompson), Jessica and Erica (Mike Miller); four great-nephews: Elias, Henry, Ethan, and Louie; a grand-niece, Josephine; and many friends.
Her father predeceased her December 5, 2017.
The funeral service will be celebrated Saturday, December 16 at 10:30 am from Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900). A reception at the centre will follow.
Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
