Roger Zoël Bourque, 82, of Shediac, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017.Born July 11, 1935 and raised in Scoudouc, he was the son of the late Zoël and Ozithe (Landry) Bourque.
He is survived by his son, Marcel (Nicole), Nicole’s daughter, Jasmine; a sister, Beatrice; his former wife, Lorette LeBlanc; many nieces, and nephews; his girlfriend’s children: Raymond (Pauline), Linda (Vern), Doug (Ginette), Bob (Thérèse), Donald (Janice); his girlfriend’s grandchildren: Nathalie and Justin.
Roger is predeceased by a daughter, Annette; his brothers and sisters: Germaine, Sylvia, Yolande, Melda, Gloria, Paul, and Clovis; his girlfriend, Marie Cormier.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297). Visiting hours Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. only. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Jacques-le-Majeur R.C. Church, 3091 Route 132, Scoudouc, on Thursday, November 16 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
In memory of Roger, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
