

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Pierre Bourque, 69, announce his passing on Friday, November 10, 2017 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born March 9, 1948 and raised in Moncton, he was the son of the late Laurie and Marguerite (Bourgeois) Bourque.
He was employed by Transport Canada and Nav Canada for 34 years retiring in 2004. Pierre was a kind and gentle man whose multiple talents allowed him to always give a helping hand to others. He loved his Harley Davidson on which he made numerous trips with his friends. He and Joanne Loved to travel which took them to many countries around the world.
Pierre is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years and high school sweetheart, Joanne née Melanson; two children: Mike (Catherine) of Dieppe, and Nadine Paulin (Georgio) of Moncton; four grandchildren: Riley and Henri Bourque; Catherine and Alexandre Paulin; two sisters: Isabelle Thomas (Armand) of Shediac, and Odette Bourque of Moncton; many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 88 Church Street, Moncton, from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday, November 16 at 2 p.m. Visiting hours Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe. In memory of Pierre, a contribution to Fondation Dumont UHC (palliative) would be appreciated.
