Louis Albert Hébert, 79, of Shediac, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Centre. 

Born March 7, 1938 and raised in Cap-Pelé, he was the son of the late Henri and Marie-Anne (LeBlanc) Hébert.

He is survived by his wife, Thérèse née Forest; three children: Leo, Jo-Anne (Andy) and Denise; five grandchildren: Rachel, Mark, Bethany, Emma, and Nathan; two great-grandchildren: Ivan and Grady; his brothers and sisters: Laurette Thibodeau (Yvon), Francine, Yvon (Rose), Ronald, Roger (Dot), Paul (Lucie), Emile, Normand (Aurella), Henri (Glenda), and Annette Robichaud (Norm); many nieces, and nephews.

 He is predeceased by a brother, Francis.

 The family will receive condolences at the Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac (532-3297) from where the funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 25 at 4 p.m.

Visiting hours Wednesday from 2-4 p.m.

 A reception at the centre will follow.
