Blanche Goguen, 93, of Foyer St-Antoine passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday, October 7th, 2017. Born in Cocagne on February 18th, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Arcade and Lydie (LeBlanc) Léger.
She was a retired hairdresser and a former member of the Cocagne Golden Age Club.
She is survived by her son, Marc (Gilberte Richard) and one grand-daughter, Caroline (Nicholas Steeves).
She was predeceased by her husband Alyre (1990); five sisters: Aline, Lucie, Émilia, Aurore and Sister Germaine as well as six brothers: Henri, Edmond, Francis, Acquila, Alphonse and Joseph. She was the last surviving member of her family.
The family will receive condolences at the St-Pierre RC Church slumber room, 2000 route 535, Cocagne on Tuesday, October 10th from 2 pm to 4 pm and from 7 pm to 9 pm and on Wednesday from 10 am until time of funeral. The funeral will be celebrated at St-Pierre RC Church on Wednesday October 11th at 11 am.
In memory of Blanche, a contribution to the Foyer St-Antoine would be appreciated.
