
Richard Francis Trynor
1935-2017
Richard Trynor of Cap Brûlé, NB passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Sunday, October 1, 2017. Born in St. George, NB, he was the son of the late George and Florence (Baldwin) Trynor.
Richard was a graduate of Rothesay Collegiate School and attended Dalhousie and St. Mary’s Universities. He worked in the road construction industry in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland from the late1950’s to 1970’s. He then operated a small paving company and later worked in sales in Dartmouth, NS. After retiring he worked part time with H & R Block in Halifax during income tax seasons. Since 2005 he has enjoyed life at his home near Shediac.
He worked with neighbors trying to preserve the integrity and environment of the small community in which he lived. Richard enjoyed visits with friends, playing cribbage and bridge, and was a loyal fan of the Blue Jays and Leafs. He will be remembered as a kind and gentle man who enjoyed his friends, family and dog, Rascal.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son and best friend, Howard Trynor and his sister, Mary Weeks.
Richard will be sadly missed by his wife, Maxine Trynor and by his daughters Amy Trynor (Shawn Neumeier), Airdrie, AB, Cindy Trynor (Derek Hull), Toronto ON and his daughter–in-law Krista Trynor (Halifax) in addition to his grandchildren Kate and Peter Hull and Emma Trynor. Also left to mourn are his sister, Jeanette (Greg) Booth and his brother-in-laws, Howard (Ruth) Pearn and Ross Weeks and their families.
There will be a private family service at the gravesite on Friday, October 6. That afternoon the family will welcome friends at a reception from 2 to 4 at Le Club Boishebert, (where he enjoyed getting together with his friends), 322 Main St., Shediac - entrance off of Hamilton Street.
