Edgar Gallant, 58, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L Dumont UHC on Friday, September 15^th, 2017. Born in Shediac on May 18^th, 1959, he was the son of the late Maurice and Geneva (Gautreau) Gallant.

He is survived by the mother of their children: Shirley McGovern; three children: Nick (Danie Savoie), Nathasha (Pierre Gautreau), Chantal; seven sisters: Camilla MacMillan, Dorice Gallant, Yolande Gautreau, Jeanne Cormier, Annette Gallant (Ken Gallant), Phyllis Gallant (Bernard Fougère), Gisèle Gallant; four brothers: Charles Gallant, Gerald Gallant, Michel Gallant, Paul-Émile Gallant; three grandchildren: Erika, Jonathan and Jacob.

Edgar was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Clovis (1975).

The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 396 Main Street, Shediac on Tuesday, September 19^th from where a chapel service will be held at 4 pm. Visitations are from 2 pm to 4 pm.
